Bush's Best	1/09	"As of this date, all of our BUSH'S BEST products are gluten-free with the exception of our BUSH'S BEST Chili Beans, our BUSH'S Chili Magic Chili Starter line, and our Bush's Homestyle Chili line. We do use corn starch in some of our products, but it does not contain gliadin gluten from wheat, barley, oats, or rye grains which may cause adverse responses in persons suffering from Celiac Sprue. In addition, any vinegar used in our products is corn-based and distilled. All of our products are soy and dairy free as well. Carnation (Nestle)	1/09	Nestle is one of the companies that states they will list any gluten present in a product in the ingredient label. They also have a PDF list of all of their gluten-free products last updated 6/08. On this GF list they include Nestle Carnation Evaporated Milk, Low Fat Evaporated Milk, Fat Free Evaporated Milk, Sweetened Condensed Milk, and Instant Nonfat Dry Milk. http://nestle-consumerservices.casupport.com/eglutenfree.pdf
Comstock & Wilderness pie fillings	1/09	Comstock is a subsidiary of Birds Eye Foods. They responded by email "Most of our packages are clearly labeled with allergen statement; please refer to this or the detailed ingredient statement for gluten-containing ingredients. Our Comstock & Wilderness pie fillings and other plain vegetables are gluten free. Most other products, such as those containing sauces or pasta should be clarified before each use."
